Ingredients:

  • 250 gm Baby Corn
  • 1 Bell Pepper (any colour) -
  • 2 Green Chillies -
  • 2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste -
  • 2 tsp Soy Sauce -
  • 2 tsp Tomato Sauce -
  • 1 tsp Chilli Sauce -
  • 1 tsp Corn flour -
  • 1 cup water -
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper Powder -
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for seasoning

Directions:

Broth Preparation:

In a mixing bowl, add corn flour, tomato sauce, chilli sauce, soy sauce, add water and stir well.

Gravy preparation:

Heat a pan or wok with oil, add ginger garlic paste and fry until the raw smell goes well.

Add finely chopped green chillies, baby corn and fry for a minute.

Sprinkle some salt and add chopped bell pepper, fry for sometime.

Once the pepper and corn cooked, then add the broth which we prepared earlier.

Adjust the consistency and spice level as you required.

Finally add black pepper powder and cook in medium flame.

Once the gravy becomes translucent, switch off the stove.

Baby Corn -Pepper Gravy is ready to serve with chapathi, roti, parotta, pulka, fried rice or ghee rice.

The poblanos are definitely the star of this dish, but all together it becomes a perfect meal or side dish. The sweetness of the butternut squash, roasted with earthy thyme and finally paprika to bring the smokiness full circle is a home run.
