Ingredients:

  • 500 medium gms Chicken cut
  • 1 cup Curd/Yogurt
  • 2 teaspoon Carrom /Ajwain seeds
  • 2 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 6-7 Black Peppercorns
  • 3-4 cloves
  • 1 cup Cream/Malai
  • 2 Onions
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 2 Green Chillies
  • Black Pepper powder to taste
  • Salt to taste

Directions:

1

* Chop the onion and green chillies and keep aside

* Wash and clean the chicken and keep it in a large bowl

* Make cuts on the chicken flesh

* Add Curd, ajwain and ginger garlic paste on chicken and massage it well on it

* Add salt and black pepper powder and mix well

* Keep it aside for 2 hours to get the flavours infused in chicken

* In a wok, heat up oil and crackle black pepper and cloves

* Add in chopped onions and saute till its brown

* Add in all the chicken pieces, green chillies and left over curd masala

* Cook it covered and keep mixing it till chicken is soft

* Adjust the salt and black pepper if required

* Finally add in cream and let it cook for 5 more minutes without lid

* Serve hot with drinks or with naan or parathas

This casserole is perfect for chicken or turkey! I've been testing recipes that would work for Thanksgiving leftovers and this one hit a home run! Creamy, rich with cheesy pasta. It's easy to make and will take leftover turkey to a new level with a little cranberry sauce on the side.

Another enchilada recipe, but this is full of creamy goodness provided by the cream cheese mixture. These were amazing. If I had sliced black olives they would have been a good addition. These will definitely be made and enjoyed again. I hope you enjoy them.

I made this dish only because I have been slowly dying for weeks now (like that of a cheese fiend who was so devoid of salty curdled milk chunks that I was literally worried I’d do permanent damage to my bones due to calcium deficiency) to eat something with cheese. And lucky me, I found a box of polenta in our storecupboard and a bag of pre-grated Parmesan Cheese… Yes, pre-grated supermarket ..
